At this year’s WordCamp in Switzerland, it impressed the local WordPress community with its simplicity, speed, and playful approach – a website in a minute, one-click WordPress, and the fair “Pay What You Want” model. The interest from attendees confirmed that the European market wants hassle-free websites, but also expects more features and flexibility. And SODEW is listening.

Switzerland Confirmed the Direction: Simplicity and More Options.

“WordCamp Switzerland clearly showed us we’re on the right track. Our visitors want reliable, simple, and secure websites – but they also expect additional services to have everything in one place,” says Tereza Vošická, Sales Manager at SODEW.

WordCamp Europe 2025 took place this year in Basel, Switzerland, attracting nearly 1,500 attendees. The event was organized by a team of over 81 organizers and supported by 69 sponsors, alongside a dedicated volunteer crew.

Hundreds of visitors tried out SODEW’s two main products at the booth throughout the weekend:

• AI Builder – a smart tool that uses artificial intelligence to design and build a complete website in under a minute, based on a simple prompt or short customer description.
• AI Hosting for WordPress – hosting with pre-installed WordPress, automatically optimized and secured, ideal for anyone who wants to launch WordPress quickly and without stress.

The flexible “Pay What You Want” pricing model also drew a lot of attention in Switzerland, sparking lively discussions about fairness and freedom of choice.

SODEW Adds More Features: Admin Panel, Domains, and Email Hosting.

Based on feedback from Switzerland and other events, SODEW is preparing updates that will further enhance both services:

Admin Panel: A clear, convenient interface for managing your website in just a few clicks.
Domain Purchase: Register and manage domains directly within SODEW – no need to search for external registrars.
Email Hosting: Every website will have the option to set up a custom email address on its own domain.
